Joshua Pelatzky is an internationally renowned dancer, choreographer and teacher. His body of work spans 20 different countries, from theatre and concert dance to music videos, tours and television.
With a diverse training background, Joshua has worked with esteemed choreographers including Mandy Moore, Travis Wall, Debbie Allen, Joshua Bergasse, Michele Assaf and Dee Caspary; notable music artists such as Patti Labelle, Kelly Clarkson, FKA Twigs, and Rachel Platten, Kesha; and has served as dance captain for both Betty Who and Billy Porter.
Joshua has performed at the ‘MTV VMAs’, ‘The Late Show with James Corden’, ‘GMA’, ‘the Today Show’, ‘Dick Clarks Rockin New Years Eve’ and ‘the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade’; live stage shows such as ‘Freeze Frame’, ‘Pepito’s Story’, ‘Broadway Bares’, ‘Aida’, and ‘Mental Head Circus’, and regional productions of ‘The Music Man’, ‘Bye Bye Birdie’ and ‘Joesph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat’. His latest feature will premiere later this year, in the movie ‘Brighton Beach’ choreographed by Wes Veldink, Ramon Baynes and Jonte Moaning.
In the classic and contemporary realms, Joshua continuously pushes the boundaries of artistic expression through dance, as can be seen in the music video for Darwin Deez’ ‘DNA’, for which Joshua was nominated for an EU Video Music Award. He has taught contemporary and street jazz around the globe for festivals including World Dance Movement, Tanec Bez Hranic, Fair Play Dance Camp and Movement Dance Festival.
With a passion for giving back through teaching, Joshua has been on faculty at Broadway Dance Center and the EDGE Performing Arts Center, and continues to guest teach at BDC Japan, Ormars LAB Milano, IALS Roma and Harmonic Paris.
